Ugbana Oyet is the Serjeant at Arms responsible for keeping order within the Commons part of the parliamentary estate. There are also some ceremonial aspects to the role. Oyet agreed to sit for me at Parliament as part of a new portrait project.

This constitutes Rory’s 5th consecutive shortlist and win of the Portrait of Britain in five years.
